Privacy notice
Straightforward information about the data this site collects.
This notice explains what the FixMyPC4Me website records, why it is used, and the choices available when you contact us.
Information you choose to submit
The service-request form may collect your name, phone number, email address, customer type, business name, approximate number of employees or devices, city or ZIP code, requested service, urgency, and the description you provide.
Please do not submit passwords, access codes, payment-card data, Social Security numbers, medical information, or other sensitive credentials through the form.
How service requests are used
Request information is used to understand the problem or project, determine an appropriate response, contact you, provide requested services, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and protect the website and its users.
Requests are stored in a private file on the web server. When a notification destination is configured, the request may also be sent through the server's email system so it can receive prompt attention.
Security and abuse prevention
The form uses a security token, a hidden spam field, and rate limiting. A one-way hash derived from the submitting IP address is stored with the request and used for abuse prevention. The request record does not intentionally store the plain IP address.
Attribution and browser storage
The site uses browser session storage to remember the first page visited during the current browser tab session, a referring hostname when available, and standard campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign. If you submit the form, those limited values may be stored with the request so FixMyPC4Me can understand which pages and campaigns generate real inquiries.
This website does not intentionally load third-party advertising trackers or cross-site marketing cookies at this time. A first-party session cookie is used on the request page for form security and submission confirmation.
Sharing and service providers
Information is not sold. It may be handled by hosting, network-security, email, messaging, or other service providers when needed to operate the website, deliver a notification, communicate with you, or provide the requested service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect people, systems, or legal rights.
Retention and your choices
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, follow-up, security, business records, and legal obligations. You may avoid the form and call instead. You may also call to ask about correcting or deleting service-request information, subject to operational and legal recordkeeping needs.
Contact
For privacy questions, call 706-962-3325 or email [email protected]. This notice may be updated as the website and its service providers change.
